ABOUT ME

I am a meteorologist with BS from the University of Oklahoma, and Master's work completed at Florida State University, focusing heavily on severe convective storms and tropical systems. I am a teacher/tutor, with 7 years teaching a wide range of subjects at private school, including chemistry, geometry, physical science, precalc, and physics multiple times, and a range of teaching/tutoring subjects from college calculus/stats, SAT/ACT/GRE/FTCE, grade school science, math, english, history, geography, technology, Bible, etc. My job is in helping people struggling to figure it out! In addition I have done a handful of jobs working in Excel VBA, plus tasks in geolocation, satellite imagery labeling, word game creation, and transcription among others. I placed top 3 nationally in computer programming contests in high school, and do have a bit of background in PHP, Linux shell, AHK, JavaScript, C++, Python, Perl, VisualBasic, QGIS/GIS types, and probably quite a few others. I have done some graphics editing using GIMP. I speak a growing amount of Spanish, though am not totally fluent yet. With that range of skills, I am often well suited for unique projects where those combination of skills can come in handy in figuring out the project and helping it get done.
