ABOUT ME

In 1996 I moved to Australia for further studies in textile printing design at Melbourne Institute of Textile College where I undertook various projects and designed flyers, brochures, newsletters, newspapers for the Sri Lankan community in Melbourne. In 1998 I joined 3CR Sinhalese Community Radio as Program Operator and worked as a member of an editorial in "Divasa" Sinhalese Community Newspaper. Within the media field, I produced two Radio Drama programs for 3ZZZ and SBS Radio channels together with VCE students from Roxburgh Park VSL Centre. I continued to direct and produce stage drama and school concerts for the St Albans Sinhalese Language School (2003 Sep) Sinhalese Radio Programs for 3ZZZ Multicultural Radio were produced and directed. I had been appointed as Academic Secretary and School Coordinator of the Victorian Sinhalese Language School of Werribee, (still current). In 2003 I founded the Sumedha Home Video Production House which consists of members who are gifted and active within the arts field, with cultural talents and interests in the film industry who are living in Australia. I have very good Knowledge to upgrade, maintain, and repair computers. I would like to make a conversation with you in person to discuss any available opportunities. My first film production "Visanvadhaya" created with young Sri Lankan university students living in Melbourne. It was finished in January 2006 and publishes on TV channel 31 in Australia. That short film script edited and directed by me. Our 2nd goal is a "Saswamika" feature film also script edited and directed by me. It was movie length and direct publish two times in Melbourne and also publish on "TV Lanka" TV Channel in Sri Lanka. We have strived to produce high-quality video production work in a variety of fields. This website explains the services I offer and how you can go about engaging us.
I have over 15years of professional experience in video production, music and sound production, web and graphic design, and screenwriting, and copywriting. I specialize in all aspects of video production and have an IT degree majoring in Film, Television, and Sound Edit.
