ABOUT ME

I am a highly motivated and qualified individual who aspires to contribute towards the welfare and wellbeing of people within all societies. I'm currently pursuing a Master's Degree in International Law and Organisations, and my academic background with an undergrad degrees in Journalism and in law(Honors) graduated division Magna cum laude, allows me to have a dynamic skill set. My life goal is pursuit of knowledge for deliverance of justice beyond the barriers of Regionalism/Racism/Sexism/Oppression/Developmental Disparities of Nations for upholding Human values and relations which would lead to further improvements in Socio Economic Integration of Nations. My foremost areas of interests include, understanding the workings of International Law, Diplomacy, Human rights, Humanitarian laws and Women & Child Empowerment. 'Human Rights and Freedom' and Rule of Law and Equality are not just doctrines, but virtues I live by. Academic/Professional Experiences :- 1. Work Experience (Jul, 2018 – Present): Working as an Associate of Advocate Adinarayana Rao, (Advocate at Madras High Court and representing Advocate at the Supreme Court of India) in the field of litigation: 2. National Representation (Legal): (a) Landmark case against the Director General of Foreign Trade (citation: WP- 113, 2304 and 2305 of 2018, Writ Petition- No. 9750 of 2018). (b) Case pertaining to the testamentary succession, pertaining to a question of law relating to matters of succession. (c) Assisted Senior Advocate and Former Additional Solicitor General of India Mr. P. Wilson on a Writ Petition on illegal encroachment and coercive activities by government officials against a School run by Christian Missionaries. (d) Company Law cases pertaining to breach of contract due to 'Insolvency and Bankruptcy', 'Arbitration and Conciliation matters', 'Writs pertaining to several Human Rights violation cases on wrongful detention'. (e) Cases pertaining to custody of children and related jurisdictional matters. 3. International Representation (Legal): Collaborated with Ibrahim Albanna Advocates & Legal Consultant pertaining to a criminal and family law dispute case at United Arab Emirates. Mar, 2019. 4. Internships: (a) Aug, 2015 – Apr, 2018: Apprenticeship under Advocate Adinarayana Rao. Research training and review of legal documents, Problem solving, Legal drafting, Data compilation/information gathering, in addition to client counselling. (b) Nov, 2014 – Jan, 2015: Internship at Red Consulting, training areas, Social Media marketing, organizing press conferences and media shoots, drafting press releases, managing PR stunts and preparing media coverage reports. (c) June 2013: Had an apprenticeship with a leading news channel (NDTV) in Chennai, TN. The position involved tasks such as, of archiving, collecting beats, information gathering, conducting and setting up interviews of eminent personalities. 5. Conferences/Seminar: Organized legal events that required to host eminent legal luminaries and managing liaison between several law universities in order to smoothly conduct tailor made events such as "Rationibus Jure Moot Court Competition" and seminars on areas such as "Protection of Women's Rights" and "Emerging Challenges of Cyberspace". 6. Vocational: Activities undertaken during B.A. Journalism that honed my organizational and inter-personal skills. (a) "Arivatral (Knowledge Acquisition)" :– Campaign to provide educational and co-curricular activities for orphans. (b) "Penn (Women)" :– Annual event hosted to celebrate the achievements of women in Media and other fields. (c) "Dakshtyal ( Self Defense)" :- Public Relations event aimed at Self Defense with primary focus on women empowerment. My 4 years of legal work in the capacity of apprentice and as an Advocate at the Madras High Court has made me proficient in drafting legal petitions, giving legal advice, oral advocacy and briefs, content proofing, research, data assimilation and appropriating content for the respective target demography, can contribute to any organisation. Technologically, I am well versed with IT in the fields of, MS Office, Word, Excel and Power point. I am cogent with aspects of mass media communication, with a penchant for photo-videography, radio management, public relations, designing and editing and statistical analysis using software and statistical tools such as Adobe (Photoshop), IBM SPSS, InDesign and several video editing software such as Adobe, Final Cut and Movie Maker.
