ABOUT ME

My name is Uchechukwu Ajalam, and I've been providing clients with top-notch, eye-catching designs for the better part of a decade, and I believe my expertise in creating visual assets will prove to be a valuable, well, asset to your well-renowned company. I excel at: Creating world-class logos and brand identities for companies/business Designing beautiful typography-based projects, creating icons and infographics Designing breathtakingly sublime user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile Designing layouts, producing images, and developing styles for websites and media profiles, and corporate communications Contributing creative ideas during corporate brainstorming sessions Prioritizing workloads and coordinating multiple ongoing projects Some highlights of my experience include: Being heavily involved in every step of application framework redesign, including design in Illustrator, specifications and redlining, creating interactive prototypes in Adobe Xd, CSS3 implementation, and usability testing Collaborating with developers and designers using GitLab for version control Training designers and developers on creating icon fonts and using them in Xd and Photoshop, then implementing them with HTML5 and CSS3 Completing UI redesign of website using usability case studies, wireframes, and prototypes to create a fully functional web application Designing and developing interactive prototypes and mockups using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery for future enhancements of the website, then implementing them on the live web platform Working with development teams to correct any UI problems or HTML/CSS issues Designed and developed new web 2.0 features to improve UX and modernize the web platform I am team player, hence, I consider myself an easy person to work with. I am also very intuitive, and I do not need to be micro-managed. I always try to meet deadlines, but I fancy quality - supreme quality - over speed. My preferred tools are CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, and XD, and with a combination of these tools, I intend to maintain and develop your company's brand. I believe that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication, therefore, my work is simple and neat, but aesthetically pleasing.
