ABOUT ME

After graduating from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology with Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2016. I joined my friend's startup Apps Intelligence, where we developed MVP of MenuRica, iPad application for restaurant ordering management and processing system. After pitching it to restaurants, it was revealed that this product is not viable for large number of restaurants. I realised this early and started pitching my team the alternative and better solution which was rejected by the team. Finally I left.

In start of 2017, with my friend, I pitched the idea at Nest i/o - Technology Incubator for their fifth cohort and got selected. There we developed MVP for Khawo, did a successful pilot in multiple restaurants. As we needed to grow, we were out of cash and were unable to pay our bills. After unsuccessful efforts to raise funding, we had to stop the operations of Khawo in hope of resuming it one day.

After participating in programming competition, I was fortunate to have an offer from 10Pearls, one of the top software companies in Pakistan. Joined them in Jan 2018 as Software Engineer.

As entrepreneurship is in my roots, I wanted to start my own business and left 10Pearls in April this year, because it was full-time job and I was unable to get extra time.

I am now freelancing and working on exporting leather products to my cousin in US. So I will be available part-time, 25-30 hrs per week. I might have more time than that.

That's all with my short journey up till now, which was with so much fun, learning, ups and downs, frustrations, failures and a lot more.
