Part Time Staff Accountant

We are looking for a part time Staff Accountant to support the finance and executive team by maintaining and reconciling accounts and performing all accounting related activities. They will manage accounts receivable, reconcile bank transactions and prepare journal entries for month end closing procedures. Other responsibilities include preparing monthly sales tax filings, payroll entries, general account maintenance and financial statement variances using QuickBooks Online. A Day in the Life:

• Be the central point for all accounting needs across the company
• Daily bank transactions
• AP/AR
• Monthly Close
• Bank reconciliations
• Sales tax filing

Who Do We Need?:

• In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks online as it relates to banking, AP and general reporting.
• Experience with recording and reporting on multi-business unit and cost center accounting practices.
• Prepare month end close journal entries as well as balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Someone who can work across teams and functions
• A flexible person the start-up world is a never-ending work in progress; flexible people will be most successful.
