assistance with sendmail relay to google Suite account on lightsail vps

Hello,

I have spun up a AWS Lightsail instance and am having a gremlin with setting up sendmail relay to a google suite account.

AWS block/limit smtp out on lightsail vps so the only way to have a vps mail out via a relay.

ive setup the authinfo data and added the entries to the sendmail.mc but the vps is not authenticating to gmail.
