Odoo - Work Order Transfer Components to Virtual Location after Consumption

We are using odoo v12 Enterprise. We will request that development work is done on your server, but we can provide development server if necessary. Please mention this in your proposal.

OUR PROBLEM:

By default, the Manufacturing module uses Virtual Locations to keep inventory during work. When the first Work Order is started, all of the components are moved to Virtual Location. (move-to-virtual.jpg)

This causes problems for us, because all the components are moved together to Virtual Location when the first Work Order is started. However, we do not start working with all components right away. We need to keep components in Physical Location until the Work Order is Record Production or Done.

OUR PROPOSED SOLUTION:

We would like the components to be transferred to Virtual Location only AFTER the Work Order operation is completed, when they are consumed, as defined in the BOM Consumed in Operation. (bom-consume-operation.png)

This will require transfers to be made each time the Work Order is worked, either partial or full amount. There should be a transfer to Virtual Location each time a Work Order is recorded. There should still be transfer from Virtual Location to final finished good after all Work Order steps are completed.

The end result is that the components will stay in original Physical Location, until after the Work Order is recorded, at the correct step of operation as defined in BOM Consumed in Operation.
