Senior API designer/architect

As the Senior API designer, you be leading the requirement gathering and API hands on design work. You will also be responsible for building the foundation for API management, creating a portfolio of services across cloud-based systems, in-house-developed applications, and leveraging various enterprise integration and API platforms.

To be successful in this role, you will have has prior experience in: defining REST APIs, Expert experience in frameworks like Swagger, At least three years in JSON, Coding/programming languages (java, javascript, j2ee), and micro service design.

Other Requirements:

Experience with SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, Event Driven and message-based Architecture, J2EE design patterns, and API frameworks
Experience with multiple middleware technologies, programming languages , databases, and messaging solutions
Experience implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST)
Experience with microservice patterns and concepts
Significant understanding of cloud solutions
Experience with containerisation and Container Management software
