Homepage design for a wordpress website

A wordpress website needs a home page.
The scope is for the home page only, other pages I will do myself.
The objective is to make something that looks stylish and modern, so design skills and good taste will be required.

The website to be updated is this:(removed by Toogit admin)
The website is a home page for experimental open-source humanoid robot, please style accordingly.

The webpage will have header, footer and main 3 sections in between.
Desired layout is explained in attachment.
Also in attachment you can find some photos.
Please do level adjustment on the photos.
Please use placeholders for paragraphs and photos where missing, I will update it myself later.

How we are going to work:
I will give you login to wordpress and let you do the changes, once done I will terminate your account.
The website has zero visits right now, so dont be afraid to break anything.
You will not send me any files, all work will be done directly on the website.
I would appreciate if before you begin you show me a couple of other websites (not necessarily yours) so we have rough idea what you are going to build.
I can suggest this one as https://odriverobotics.com, creatively copying it would be your safe bet :)

Styling guidelines:
Im not a designer, otherwise I would do it myself.
I have to rely on your judgement, but still Id like to give you some ideas.
The design has to be *simple, *clean and *modern.
I also like simplicity and lite colors.
Im going to update content later so it has to be easily editable too.

As you see, I dont have detailed specs, so as I said before, just use your creativity and make it look pretty!
