I am building an e-commerce site very similar to StockX and GOAT. I need a website and accompanying mobile application for iOS and Android built for this site.
SITE DEVELOPMENT AND KEY COMPONENTS:
-As for data to go on the site (product descriptions for each item) I need someone who is able to pull a database of the specified items onto the site. Furthermore, I need this data integrated into the site/app. I am hoping this does not need to be done manually, because there are thousands of products. I have an idea of where the data should come from, but I need the legality of this checked. The products being sold will need descriptions similar to how StockX has a products description of shoes. An efficient/legal way of getting this information for my products needs to be achieved.
-The website will operate as a consumer to consumer site, with this platform acting as the middleman. I need secure ways of payment and information storage/processing.
-Account creation/verification system. Accounts verified through phone number, email, Facebook, etc.
-I need to be able to integrate a software that allows for shipping labels to be printed for the seller or buyer (if returns are made.)
-Integrated auto-emailing system for account creation verification, items being shipped/received, etc.
-The site needs to be able to store and display information of past sales to the consumer (similar to StockX) in the form of graphs and other graphics.
OTHER JOBS NEEDED:
-I need a lawyer to overlook some of these sites terms and conditions do determine the legality of the methods used to extracted certain information. I need to be sure that this form of data stripping is legal or ways around it if it is illegal.
-Prior to site launch, I will need social media marketers and managers. Advertising will play a huge role in the success of the product and getting it out to the consumer. This can be in the form of video ads, PPC ads, and promoted posted on various social medias.
-For future plans, I want to be able to use AI or other methods to track how consumer navigates the page and what habits/tendencies they have. Similar to Amazon.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
This project has never been done before. There are competing sites, with entirely different business models. If done correctly, this site can drive away tons of business from these sites and stores across the United States. This platform puts the power back in the consumers hands. StockX, GOAT, and OfferUp are platforms with components similar to what needs to be achieved, however, this platform is narrowed to a specific target group.
I need someone who is honest, driven, and meticulous. I am a bit of perfectionist and know what I want/need, but I lack the technical skills for the tasks needed. You can work and your own pace within reason, but I ask for communication and explanation of methods used for better understanding.
We can talk on the Toogit. If you have a portfolio of past projects or experience, please dont hesitate to share them with me. This is a massive project; these components are laying the foundation.
This is a rough layout of my plans. I will need you to sign a confidentiality agreement before any information is disclosed. Pay will also be discussed and a written contract can be drafted. You will be paid per job. Hoping to have this project completed in 1-2 years or sooner.
