Experienced API dev. PHP/Python/Perl - NuSOAP - to troubleshoot

Were looking for someone who has some serious experience of API troubleshooting.

Here is more info. and the API we are using and the method:

Docmail API
The method GetProofFile

We tried using the Docmail API method GetProofFile in PHP with retrieving a large PDF proof file (>20Mb) to no success. We tried NuSOAP but its not working to get a big proof file (>20Mb).

We contacted Docmail support - and they said the reason it didnt work was due to MaxReceivedMessageSize. We tried to fix this - but it didnt help. The only time it worked was with C#.

Weve tried using Cherles Proxy to troubleshoot with no success (possibly due to our lack of experience in this tool).

We are trying to get to the bottom of why we cant get it to work - and are wondering if there are deficiencies in the API or our lack of competence in getting it to work.

The Docmail tech team who built the API said it works to GetProofFile via their Windows machine.

The Docmail team is available for helping you troubleshoot (if of course you know to ask the right questions).
