Solutions Architect for a Sensor Network

Seeking an app developer for a renewable energy project. Developer will need to build a database to house sensor data drawn from remote sites. This data will be managed and stored using containers in a distributed architecture. The first app is a global control app which is a master application which draws in the data from many controls apps on site. The second app is a data analysis and display app for long-term research. Both use the same sensor network.

Phase 1 Deliverables: Seeking detailed design plans of the apps and a development and deployment plan of the applications. This project is the planning phase with an opportunity to be paid for the plan and then later the implementation.

Experience required: Developer must have some experience in Linux, Cassandra, NonSQL, and Kubernetes developments.

Project Timing: The first phase will likely begin in 6 months and last for about 4 months.

Project Focus: Hydro meteorology, sensor logging, distributed architecture, data analysis and display for institutional research
