Web Developer

We are located in Las Vegas, NV and looking for someone local for a full time position. We currently have a website using PHP, MySQL, and Wordpress. Our site is set up with the shell using Wordpress and personalized reports made with PHP and MySQL displayed using iframes. Our site is a subscription based site. We have a login for each individual user to display personalized information. This site runs all of our commissions, reporting, subscriptions, event registrations, site payments, new member registration, event ticketing and member information. You will be responsible for expanding on our existing program, developing new high quality software end to end, and is involved in all aspects of software development (architecture, design right, delivery of the code, testing and deployment support). Other responsibilities include:

Build on our existing site
Work through our existing site and make it as efficient as possible
Ensure software development methods utilize best practices and maintain high quality, security and performance.
Protects intellectual property and source code and adheres to company source code management processes and procedures.
Identifies architect solutions making use of relevant Open Source technologies
Meets deadlines and ensure quality and security is of high standards
Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a PHP Developer
B.S. Degree in Computer Science or other technology related discipline is preferred
3+ years of experience with SQL
Experience with Wordpress
Object oriented design experience
Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.
Experience with JavaScript
Strong communications skills both written and verbal
Experience:

PHP: 3 years (Required)
SQL: 3 years
Wordpress
Education:

Bachelors (Preferred)
