Yii2 Problem - Unable to Verify Your Data Submission

We need you to fix a problem that we are having with a project developed using the Yii2 framework.

We have a custom Google Chrome extension that loads our Yii2 site into a frame on any webpage. This works the majority of the time, however 1% of users are getting the verify your data submission error when they try to login.

We have tried and tested all the usual StackOverflow solutions to no avail.

We are in control of the codebase for the Yii2 app and the chrome extension.

We need to find a solution to this problem.
