Develop windows service to synchronize data of 1-2 tables between 2 different databases

Develop windows service to synchronize data of 1-2 tables between 2 different databases:
the synchronization will be one direction only.
tables structure are different (however data fields are mostly same ),
synchronization process should be typically a timer based ( configurable via service settings),
after each execution internal, data will require basic processing ( populating data into another table, further details will be given on time).

- Development tool should be .Net framework , C#
- DBMS will be Ms SQL Server
- Both databases ( source, target) will be within one network, so directly connection is available, - However better ideas about communication technology are accepted.
