We are looking for subject matter experts to facilitate online courses on behalf of world-class institutions. The facilitation of a course will require 2-4 hours per week of your time. Pay is lump-sum and the courses are 3 to 6 months. The course is a SPANISH speaking version of Machine Learning with Python.

What is the time period of the engagement?
We are looking for people immediately. The opportunity is for 6 months. The courses are Self-paced in nature. This means that learners can sign-up and complete the course at various times throughout the term and the course is asynchronours in nature.
What is the expected time requirements and how am I compensated?
Facilitators are generally expected to spend a few hours minimum per week on each course. However, the EdifyOnline system is built around the notions of continuous improvement and self-accountability so time requirements may vary on a week by week basis depending on the needs of the course and the learner. Facilitators are compensated on a lump-sum basis per course facilitated. Facilitators are 1099 independent contractors.
What will I do as a facilitator?
Generally, facilitators responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitor discussion forums; Organize and maintain topics and questions posted by learners
Send course announcements and e-mails as necessary
Change assignment due dates and post new problems or course materials as necessary
Perform quality assurance reviews and identify errors or issues with the course
Work with us and Institution partners to manage day-to-day operations of the course
Will I be trained?
Yes, We developed a comprehensive training manual that covers all aspects of the online Learning Management System (LMS) including best practices for facilitators. Additionally, EdifyOnline resources will be available to deal with course setup, course fixes, and other course-related issues. Training time is estimated to be between 4-8 hours.
Are there any other technical and/or onboarding requirements to be aware of?
Yes. Facilitators must have reliable access to the internet and must use a PC or laptop running Google Chrome. Facilitators will be required to download a Google Chrome Extension. Also, once facilitators have been pre-approved for the opportunities they will have to go through background screening to confirm they are real people and to validate relevant academic or professional qualifications. Background screening costs are incurred by Us.
