Full-time researcher needed to compile data on scientific discoveries into excel sheet

Find more Data Mining And Management remote jobs posted recently Worldwide

A full-time researcher is needed (only those who can work on a full-time capacity) to collect data for a project on large scientific discoveries in history by collecting information and data for a list of over 200 of the largest scientific discoveries in history (which have already been identified) and compiling - in an excel sheet - data on a set of background traits of the scientists who made those discoveries, their country of origin, level of education, year the discovery, among a range of other factors etc. That is, the job involves searching and compiling data to put into an excel sheet for about two hundred scientific discoveries (discoveries made by the leading scientists from Newton to Einstein) and for over 20 columns of background traits of each of these scientists. To gather all the information you will have to do research via encyclopedias of science (that I will provide you) and online encyclopedias.
The profile of the researcher: (i) you are available to work on this project for at least two weeks in a full-time capacity, i.e. 40-55 hours a week and send me the updated excel file every two days (i.e. I am not interested in hiring someone part time or who would like to also work on another project at the same time); (ii) you preferably have proof of having already compiled data before, and (iii) you are able to work completely independently, and compile all the data into the excel file without supervision. The payment for doing the job is a total of 500-800$ - i.e. for completing the entire excel sheet with 200+ rows (for each scientist and scientific discovery) and over 20 columns (of data about each of these scientists and discoveries) (the payment is the best orientation guide - but a rough estimation would be about at least 100-160 hours of work at 5$ per hour). If you would like to complete this task of compiling the entire data file (not just a part of it), then send me a message and outline what experience you have doing such data collection and research and ideally send me a sample/proof of having already compiled data before. Thanks and I look forward to working with you!
