Remote Architecture Job In Engineering And Architecture

Algorithm Specialist needed to convert IMU sensor signals into workable code

Find more Architecture remote jobs posted recently Worldwide

We have built an indoor location tech which needs to be refined further by integrating techniques that use additional inputs from IMU sensors using a combination of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and sometimes magnetometers.

We need the following skillsets:

- Ability to deconstruct mathematical formulations to write a codable algorithm
- Experience working with inertial sensor coding (IMUs)
- Understanding of coordinate systems - cartesian, quaternion and polar
- Good understanding of Mathematics, Physics and electronic sensors

Deliverable:

We already have the module for data acquisition from all the IMU sensors. The deliverable is to convert our algorithm (pseudo-code) into a module that uses the input data from the sensors, converts them into a location coordinates using the algorithm and then if possible visualize them on a screen.
