We are looking for a draftsman work alongside the lead Architect on a new accessory dwelling unit (ADU) residential project (approx. 1,000 SF). Scope of the project includes the demolition the existing carport and the construction of a new 2-story ADU. The ADU will have 1 bath, bedroom, kitchenette, gathering room, and a garage below.

Lead Architect will provide inputs (client objectives, building constraints, easements and covenants, proposed materials and finishes) and draftsman will prepare schematic plans, interior elevations, 3D models/visuals and building plans. Lead Architect will interface with end client for feedback and review plans for code conformation -- draftsman will make revisions to plans and drawings as needed. Draftsman will also need to update Architectural drawings with work of other consultants/engineers (lead Architect will provide direction).

Must be proficient in ArchiCad. Knowledge of 2015 IBC and IRC building code is necessary.
