Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Summary
We are a marketing startup. We need someone to oversee our web department. Most of the job requires backing up sites on our hosting server, virtual coordination and helping with bringing on new web developers.

Hours:
Be online Monday - Friday 9am -3pm PST. Los Angeles time.

Pay:
1 month internship will be paid $100. Including bonuses. After the first month, we will keep you permanently ONLY if you show high quality, good work ethic, honest attitude and results.
Salary is doubled next month to $200 and will also get bonuses as well.

Task:
- Have knowledge about inmotionhosting
- Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
- Manage web hosting for all our clients.
- Give technical, web dev advice to web developers
- Must have some programming knowledge
- Solid understanding of WordPress/PHP powered website creation & production workflow
- Have solid understanding of cPanel, domain & hosting management
- Help developers with critical issues, consult them with technical details and help solving logical errors on staging and live projects
- Translate to technical terms the requirement of project and explain the details with developers
- Be in touch with PM & most importantly QA, for understanding newer project requirements and if necessary, consult developers
- Be responsible and friendly
