Project Manager - Construction

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to supervise certain LAN Network/Fibre installation projects (remotely). You will be tasked with directing and coordinating the construction team and all subcontractors, ensuring tools, equipment, and material are available, preparing reports, and analyzing risks. You should also have in-depth knowledge of construction management and be familiar with health and safety regulations. A top candidate should have an analytical mind and superb organizational skills,.

Responsibilities:

• Help identifying which relevant permits and licenses to obtain from appropriate authorities
• Determining the necessary resources (time, cost, labor, materials) for each project
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Help negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations, and allocate responsibilities
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
• Help acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Supervise the work of laborers, sub-contractors etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Assessing the progress and performance of all workers involved
• Performing detailed analyses and drawing up reports for relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with all building, safety, and governmental regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a project manager
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Familiarity with project management software
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, PMP, Architecture, Engineering, or similar is not required, but is an asset
