CTO job post in a cancer medtech AI startup

Biop AI is a 6-month old UK-based healthcare startup which is developing cutting-edge AI algorithms for the early-stage analysis of skin cancer. We have so far developed our MVP 1.0 but we are expecting to start clinical trials in Barcelona (Spain) in the incoming two months and need to launch our MVP 2.0. We are the unique product developers in Europe in a potential market of close to 60M$ (expected revenue 2 million in a two-year time period) - high scaling and potential grow .

We are looking for an entrepeneur soul who joins Biop AI as our new CTO and has the capability to handle with a team of AI developers and react native developers with the aim to integrate our current existing methodologies into a real app (already developed) that is functional for the user and for the trials. After clinical trials we will get FDA-approval. Cancer is a key disease to fight against and Biop AI focuses on it.

We already have the mobile app developed, the server maintenance and the algorithms developed. Backend developer will need to handle with the team in order to integrate the algorithms into the restML server to implement. We expect a long-term partnerhip with successful candidate to develop cutting-edge cancer prognosis products.

Successful applicants will join the team and take a 2-week testing period. No full-time work is required although implication for the project must be shown. After testing period the applicant will be paid 400 euros and sharing equity (5-10% of the company). We are into an investment round of 200k $ and will be able to increase the budget once product is released.

Biop AI is not simply a skin-cancer AI product developer, we plan to expand our product and algorithms to colorectal cancer and breast cancer, among others.

Requirements:

-English or Spanish speaking and writing skills
- Great communication skills
- Capability to communicate and provide updates
- CTO prior experience is valuable but not needed
- +2 years experience working as backend developer
- Location in UK or Spain is valuable
