AOK Freight is 7 years young and has experienced rapid growth. We are a small company that prefers the relationship style service to our clients.
Must have dat and or internet truckstop brokering experience . Must be able to locate trucking companies to haul our company freight and work with our company account managers.
The position we are looking to fill will be with an individual who has superior customer service and can direct and help service all 20 of our dispatchers. This is an entry level position that will evolve to a manager of our dispatch department.
We are a unique company in that as the company has success all our staff a-z benefit in every department. With a no cap on commissions program over since inception (the last 7 years) all over staff have increased their income every year.

Source and procure the carrier services that will physically move freight for our clients. Top priority is ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of customer freight while building and maintaining relationships with carriers. Expert of negotiation, youll secure the best rates on a spot or transactional basis.
YOUR JOB:
Operational oversight of daily freight shipments
Work closely within your regional team to validate freight details
Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
Establish and maintain relationships with carriers to expand capacity opportunities
Negotiate rates with carriers on a spot or transactional basis as well in setting up contract lanes

A knack for negotiating, and the ability to handle conflict.
full time or part time contractors wanted 25 hours a week at least 4 consecutive business work days per week
We offer an hourly rate as well as increasing the hourly rate the more loads you cover & move for us by finding carriers to haul our loads
