Cyber Security Expert - long term

Looking for a cybersecurity developer/Engineer, with extensive experience in the field +5 Years.


Responsibilities:
==============

- Antivirus support, vulnerability scanning (would manage scans and handle Nesses plug-ins - establish credentials and overall support for the scanning function), would handle log aggregation

- Domains: Information/cyber security, vulnerability evaluation, system configuration management, system architecture design, risk management, system troubleshooting.

- Support, upgrade, and maintain several IT Security related systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, Host Based Security Systems (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems, firewall, log aggregation, as well as internally developed solutions.

- Ensure Cybersecurity processes are incorporated in system design, development, testing, and implementation.

- Work with the program managers and technical subject matter experts to perform vulnerability evaluation, assist in system architecture design, and risk management using approved security tools.

- Develop and provide security metrics to track systems? status, vulnerabilities, risks, and efforts to effect process or system improvements.

- Coordinate with other security departments and contractors on security-related initiatives and programs.

- Perform all related duties as assigned.

Requirements:


MUST HAVE:
==========

- **Must have ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE**

- MS or BS + 1 certification OR 5 yrs min exp with contact reference.

- SIPRNET cyber security support exp a must.

- HBSS (Host-Based Security Systems) or EPO administration experience

- ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) or Nessus vulnerability scanning/administration experience

- SPLUNK administration experience

NICE OT HAVES:

o NIST security controls experience)

o RMF (Risk Management Framework) experience
