Data Scientist: Assistance w/ Data Maintenance, Analysis, and Visualization for Biological Data

Were looking for someone with experience developing python scripts for querying a structured relational database management system (RDBMS). We have written code, but are looking to outsource the continual maintenance of the quality of our data entry and to continue running SQL queries as the business needs.

The ideal candidate has experience querying structured schemas and writing reports to communicate key findings to various business stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for:

Monitor & Manage Organizational Data Entry:
- Work with researchers to answer questions about entering data
- Create and update documentation for data entry procedures for all researchers.

Managing Data Integrity:
- Write scripts to clean new entered data (i.e. building unit tests to screen for errors in log entries).
- Develop new database architectures as needed.

Updating Database Schemas as Needed:
- Modify categories of existing columns on various data schemas.
- Create new data schemas as needed to support analysis.

Creating Data Visualizations:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Create compelling visualizations based on aggregate data logged by researchers.
- Querying the database to produce routine key performance metric reports on a weekly, monthly basis.

Create compelling reports on key questions asked by researchers or management
- Explore new potential insights related to improving the performance of Indee labs products
- Perform aggregate statistical analysis to qualify any potential findings.
