Develop NLP SaaS to Analyze Insights from Online Data

Seeking to develop a cloud-based financial software program that utilizes natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract key information and insights from data obtained via web scraping online sources, including news articles, documents, video transcripts, publications, etc. The subject matter will be focused on startup technology companies and technology industries.

Initial Deliverables:

1) An interface that allows users to interact with the data (e.g. search queries, news feed of trending topics or data, summary outputs for the user, etc.)

2) Ability for the software to generate new insights as it continues to train and learn via interactions with users, new data sources, etc.

Ultimate Project Goal: Provide insightful responses to questions like those below:

1) What are the most discussed companies or trends? (e.g. What are the most frequently discussed technology trends by Mark Zuckerberg?)

2) What startups have commented publicly about their annual revenue or growth? (e.g. Show me all private technology companies that have announced revenue of more than $10 million in the past year)

3) Which investors are the most active in a certain technology industry?

4) Who are the most cited experts for a specific industry?

6) For a specified company, what are the most discussed questions, comments, facts, etc.?

7) For a given technology, what are the most cited arguments? Whether in support of the technology or questioning the validity of the technology.
