We are developing a system for communication between HVAC/Plumbing appliances and a database so that we can monitor and optimize their performance. This project scope will include working with Google Cloud Platform to set up initial communication between a controller and GCP. The controller is already communicating by email, and has an MQTT communication platform built in to broadcast data points. Once the data can be captured, the appliances can be optimized to deliver sufficient heat and hot water while decreasing their impact on the environment.
