Economics Professor/PhD/PhD Student/ Tutoring Online

We are looking for an excellent professors/lecturers/PhDs/PhD students to tutor on-off classes.

What we do is we offer full-length 1-on-1 college-level classes online tutoring.

The job we are hiring for is particularly to teach one-off trial lessons. You will be teaching one-off classes in a subject. Your schedule would be very flexible.

We are looking for professors in:
- Economics (particularly Game Theory & Microeconomics)
- Hard Sciences (Chemistry/Physics/Biology)
- Computer Science
- Psychological Sciences (Psychology/Neuroscience)
- Screenwriting
- History

Flexible Schedule

Compensation
Training and prep for 3 trial classes - $175
One-off Students Trial Classes - $50 per 90-minute lesson (approx 1-2 per month)

The above is the main part of the job. If a student happens to sign up for a course in your field, you may have an opportunity to teach that full course. The opportunity to teach a full course is not guaranteed, but if you do, the compensation is-

Full Course - $100 per 90-min lesson - students purchase approx 15 lesson packages, approx $1,500 per student.

The $1,375 fixed price (or your bid) represents the projected compensation for training and two trial classes per month for one year, and you will be compensated for each lesson taught, so if you teach more often, you will receive more.

The process looks like this:
Lets say you are teaching Microeconomics.
Someone signs up for a trial one-off class.
They receive an optional howework assignment before the class.
They meet you on Skype & join the class and you show them how the courses work in general for our organization.
You ask them about their interest in Microeconomics and give them several options about what todays lesson can be about.
You teach them the lesson online. Lessons are 90-minutes long.

You will be given instructions on how to prepare the course and how it should run.

Professors will generally have 3 trial class options. You will be paid a fixed price for preparing the syllabus and the optional homework assignment before the first class. You will not have to do additional preparation for each trial class since they are prefabricated ane one-off

The classes you will be teaching are college level.

We expect that you will be teaching a 90-minute course approximately once or twice a month. Schedule is flexible - you set up times that work for both you and the student to meet online.

As far as teaching a more extensive course with a student (which generally consist of a total of about 25 teaching hours each plus additional payment for - yes, you may have an opportunity to do so, if you are interested, however it is not guaranteed if and when we will have the clients for you)
