Engineer a paint/color mixing device for artists

Just a quick disclaimer: Im looking for someone to give me a quote and guide me in the right direction for this project. I have the idea but dont know exactly how to execute it. Potentially, if the one who is able to give me a quote for this project can also help me in creating a prototype and/or begin development of the product, then I am certainly willing to move forward with that individual.

I am an artist and have been dreaming of this device for a long time.
As a painter, mixing paint to get the perfect color is the hardest part of performing my work. I always end up with excess paint by the time Ive added enough colors to get close enough to the color Im going for. After struggling with this for a while, I had the idea for a device that does that dirty work for you. I imagine that it would be somewhat of a small device, at least small enough to fit on a desk in any artists studio. Heres what Ive come up with so far: The device would have a small screen that would allow you to select a color; Either from a color picker interface or by entering a specific color ID. After picking a color, you would have to enter the amount of it that you need or want mixed. Next to the screen (or on the screen if it was touchscreen), there would be a GO button or something that would make and produce your selected amount of your selected color into some a little paint cup. The idea is as simple as that, but I realize that making it work would be more complicated.
As for the interworkings of the device, I imagine that it would work with a cartridge system similar to a printer. 5 cartridges for the primary colors plus white and black. The color picker interface would function like that of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator complete with color ID compatibility.
I have more ideas and details about this project for those who are interested in helping me bring it to life. I know it would be a major benefit to all artists, and Im very serious about making this a reality. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
