Enterprise Information Management Framework for a Bank

The main goal of this project is to embed a solid Enterprise Information Management framework in order to effectively manage the data assets of an East African Bank.
More specifically, the objectives of this project are to:
1) Assess the current data management environment at the bank and how it is aligned to business objectives and processes
2) Develop a data governance framework
3) Advise on a remediation road map based on the findings
In alignment with bank strategic and business objectives, the outcomes of the project will include the following:
- Assessment that documents findings including current information maturity and data management environment
- Strategic view of data and information management
- Proposed data and information governance framework, with full documentation including its structure, policies and procedures
- Review and recommendations on existing technological infrastructure and business capabilities
- Remediation journey/road map to implement governance framework and other recommendations

The consultant will work on and offsite and assume the role of the technical lead for the project as a data governance expert. Responsibilities include:
- Assess the existing enterprise information management situation and define design requirements
- Take the lead in developing all project deliverables, guiding and supervising other team member activities
- Review all deliverables under development prior to submitting to client to ensure comprehensiveness, and application of appropriate designs and content in accordance to data governance standards
- Work with the team project director and bank senior management in developing and recommending a roadmap for data governance at the bank
