Job Description
- The Sr. ColdFusion Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting the existing ColdFusion back-end platform and building a customer facing front-end.
- The ColdFusion Developer will interact with our customer service team, business/systems analysts, and other application developers in the design, development and maintenance of our ColdFusion application.
- Individual must also ready to work in 24/7 on-call support model.
Skills
- Must have experience in design and development of ColdFusion Web Applications, including developing presentation layers using AJAX, JavaScript,HTML and jQuery.
- Understanding of ColdFusion Best Practices
- Strong SQL coding background; understanding of SQL statement optimization/tuning
- Must have hands on experience using MySQL Server.
- Experience with the creation of packages and web services Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain ColdFusion applications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience is must in application development, particularly ColdFusion applications.
- Successfully completed at least 2 or more ColdFusion projects History of leading multiple concurrent applications and performing in a variety of different roles in the projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently with little direct supervision; take initiative; willing to mentor and develop others
- Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills Strong planning, issue/incident resolution and risk management skills
- Ability to handle on-call requests in L1/L2 support model Ability to react quickly to changing requirements driven by enterprise needs
