Install Libsodium PHP extension on Bluehost CentOS 6

I have struggled to set up the libsodium PHP extension on the Bluehost Virtual Private Server. Ive tried several methods including SSH and using WHM to no effect. I need someone who can guide me through the correct commands to execute to set it up the the point that the libsodium extension appears in my phpinfo() and the libsodium methods are available through PHP code on my website. If you know what youre doing this shouldnt take more than 15-30 minutes at most. It is a simple job but if successful there will be more jobs in the future!
