Interdisciplinary, Cutting-Edge Research for College Undergraduate Student(s)

On behalf of a well funded research team, I am looking for an individual who is experienced enough to launch, and lead a small team for some cutting edge research work in the areas of science, engineering, and arts. Ideally, this person should be a professor or faculty at a reputed university in USA, preferably California. Our research candidates are mainly in the California area. We can make it work for an exceptional out of state person also provided they are well qualified, experienced and come from reputed college/university. This will be a long term project that could well last several years, say about 3-4 years.

We intend for this project to be a build project, say in a lab or maker space type of facility. We also expect this project to be truly inter-disciplinary by cutting across the areas of say math, dance, science, biology etc.
