Looking for our first Data Engineer/BI - $50K+/yr - Salaried

We are a young VC funded Bay Area startup and we are looking to hire an amazing Data Engineer to join our 5 person distributed engineering team (2 people in Russia, 1 person in Greece, myself and our Product Manager here in Palo Alto/San Franscisco, California)

The ideal candidate should be
- amazing in SQL (redshift/postgresql)
- should love Google Query Language and google sheets and google scripting
- should feel comfortable coding aws lambdas , writing etl scripts
- should have the confidence to drive architecture decisions that withhold the test of time.
- should be able to fluently interact in english business language talking about KPIs and funnels etc
- should be kind, positive and hard working :-)

Show me the query that displays the 7-day trailing avg of the [Amount] on a daily basis. This description is purposely left a bit vague to assess your familiarity with such queries/questions. The ideal answer should be minimal/use the appropriate features of postgresql for this kind of query.

As of now after going through 15 candidates not a single person has come close to answer the query correctly.!!!
