Magento 2 E-commerce Web Developer

10 Grove is a direct-to-consumer e- brand of luxury, sustainable products for the home. We believe in making better products in the most efficient way, to prove that quality, craftsmanship, design and price are not mutually exclusive.

We are searching for a skilled, independent web developer to help us manage and optimize our Magento 2 website. You will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying the website from layout to function, according to company specifications. You must be able to troubleshoot issues quickly, customize extensions, test the performance and optimize the website, and maintain security / feature updates.

You will work directly with 10 Groves founder to drive the businesss growth by maintaining a robust, secure, adaptable and user-friendly e-commerce platform.

SKILLS

- Installing/Developing/Troubleshooting Magento Extensions
- Integration of 3rd Party Services and APIs
- Creating Dynamic Web Applications
- Creating/Adjusting Templates for CMS, Category and Product Detail Pages
- Accurately loading new products to website, including related inventory BOM
- Administration and support of the Magento database
- Senior-Level Magento Development
- Strong PHP Back End Development
- Experience with performance optimization, troubleshooting and maintaining a secure environment
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - git.
- Familiarity of IT infrastructure (Web and Application Server Setup, Load-Balancing, etc.)
- Commitment to best coding and design practices
- Identify, debug and fix bugs that may arise
- Conduct UI tests and optimize user performance
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and collaborate with others

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree with a minimum 5 years of web development experience
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptionally organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, effectively communicate status updates and meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Magento 2, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS and MySQL
- Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, Facebook Pixel and A/B Testing
- Thorough understanding of website design and administration.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop + Illustrator) and other related software.
- Ability to project-manage and meet strict deadlines
