Microsoft Windows 10 screen capture and processing

You need to first download and install the latest Zoom Rooms on your Windows PC and follow instructions on how to use it. It has a free trial so you do not need to pay for it for this project.

Basically it has 6 functions: Meet, Join, Phone, Whiteboard, Share Screen and Contacts.

What we want you to do: write a background service that monitors and logs Zoom Rooms usage on the computer as to the six functions: when a meet starts and ends, when a whiteboard enters/exits, etc.

There are many ways to enter/leave each of the six and there are many ways to know its current status. You are expected to explore the app and identify signatures for each of the six functions, and then make them into your app.

One approach we recommend you to consider is: for each function, the display will have some unique signatures: for example, in the whiteboard function, the bottom roll will always be the toolbar. In the meeting function, the bottom roll be something different and unique. You might be able to take advantage of this fact.

Another approach we recommend you to consider is: for each function, some different threads and processes will be executed. You might be able to track the coming and going of those specific threads and processes, and derive logs from there.

Anyway, we are open to how the tracking is to be done, as long as you can accurately track usage and report data.
