Need help with ongoing case in California

I have an ongoing case that is set to go to trial in October.
However, at this point, my lawyer is ill and cannot continue the case.

I am looking for someone to step in and take over the case for me.

I am looking to SETTLE the case and have a mediation. I have NO interest
in taking this case to trial in October.

At this point, I do not want to spend a lot of money on this case, since the breach of contract is only $31K. I am hoping to get the $31K back plus lawyers fees.

The case is located in Los Angeles, CA county.
