Need Support from Data Analyst

CCS Data Analyst Role

CCS Fundraising, a strategic consulting firm serving the nonprofit sector, is searching for consultative support from a data analyst.

The scope of the role at the outset will be tightly defined. The analyst will work in MS Excel with a file containing:
1. Select fields of constituent data from the client
2. Predictive modeling scores
3. Data appends estimating net worth and philanthropic giving capacity

Utilizing this MS Excel file, the data analytics will explore the data and build a series of charts and tables to develop a report in MS PowerPoint.

Each report will contain series of core summary views of the data that will be consistent from report to report. Additionally, each report will have a series of unique summary views of the data based on exploration and analysis.

Once the analyst is orientated to the format of the data and report structure, additional insights and deeper exploration to identify new findings and trends will be a valued skill set.

Skills needed:
1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
2. Ability to explore and explain varying types of data sets
3. Experience with data mining and segmentation
4. Story telling through data visualization
5. Knowledge of statistics

Software requirements:
1. Higher performer and user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
2. Tableau

Time and Schedule:
1. Flexible scheduling is helpful
2. Ability to turn around analysis timely and promptly
