PATTERN MAKING FOR NEW BABY WEAR COLLECTION IN NEW ZEALAND

BACKGROUND:
We are a small startup company called &u located in New Zealand and are wanting to add a bit of creative flair to the baby clothing industry. We have been researching around many local and global brands that support baby clothing and wanted to launch an creative range to the market. We are home to beautiful New Zealand organic merino wool and aim to utilise this fabric throughout our collections. With the current media attention around sourcing offshore materials for clothing, we wanted to bring back the essence of locally made into the baby clothing industry and put NZ on the map through a brand with sheer elegance.

With that in mind, we starting to explore patterns / garments and unique designs that will allow us to kickstart our baby collection. Thus, this led me to reaching out to you to get your perspective on using your creative artwork for our upcoming baby clothing line.

Our vision is to produce garments that ooze with tender loving care and we want to take our customers on this journey and spell out what &u is all about.

REQUIREMENTS:

We require your pattern making skills to come up with 2-3 concepts that would be suited for baby wear.

We are looking towards pastels as our colour scheme, which can be used as unisex baby wear.
