We are looking to find a consultant with extensive experience in item development, personality assessment and survey construction. We already have the questions but are seeking consultation on refining the pool of questions and improving the clarity of the items. The assessment will be administered online. Particular emphasis needs to be placed on user experience and reducing friction for the user.

A candidate for this project must have:

Extensive experience with item development and survey construction.
Experience with effective online survey design
A familiarity with psychological assessment and personality measures
Excellent communication skills in English
Attention to detail

The ideal candidate for this project also has:

Experience with commercial applications of surveys
This project shares some characteristics with the personality matching used by dating apps and some characteristics with the personality assessment used in IO psych applications. Experience with the use of psychometrics in either of these industries is desirable.
