Our service is hosted on AWS with a MySQL/Apache/PHP stack. We use CodeIgniter as the development framework. Technologies on the client side include JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX & CSS.
We are looking for a QA engineer to:
- Define our testing strategy
- Design and develop automation test suite for Excel. server and client side functionality using Selenium or similar automation framework
- Create test plan and document test cases
- Implement test cases
- Resolve defects, participate in code reviews of authored test cases
- Identify gaps in test coverage
- Execute, monitor and analyze test results by aligning test case coverage to organization metrics
- Track, manage and resolve defects using JIRA
- Coordinate issue resolution as required with developers
We are looking for someone with 7+ years of work experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) including the following,
- 5 years+ of Test automation experience using Selenium Web Driver or similar automation framework.
- Knowledge of TestNG, Junit is desired
- 5+ years of hands on programming in one or more of Java, PHP, Java Script, HTML, CSS
- Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and resolution
- Green field experience setting up testing infrastructure is required
- Working experience in client/server environment is required
