Report writer with background in economics, cost-benefit analysis and health policy in LMICs

The Copenhagen Consensus is looking for a consultant to lead the writing of a report. The topic of the report is: An Investment Case for Expanding Interventions in Maternal Health in Low and Middle Income Countries.

The report will be based on an academic paper and cost-benefit analyses that have already been completed. The report needs to highlight the key findings of the academic paper and describe them in a way that encourages further investment in maternal health in low-and-middle income countries. Another important aspect of the task will be crafting compelling stories that highlight the human consequences and flow on effects of maternal mortality (as demonstrated by the academic evidence).

Ability to interpret academic papers and communicate findings in non-technical language is crucial. The work is exclusively desktop based and we anticipate the output will be -20 pages. The report will be disseminated widely to donor groups, governments and multilateral institutions.
