Retail checkout automation using computer vision

Some of my clients from India want to automate and improve efficiency in the retail checkout process.

They want to automatically identify the products (without someone manually scanning the products) as the products move in a conveyor belt.

The results identified by the computer vision solution has to be integrated with the existing billing software.

This integration is optional for this work (happy to do this on our own) but we need computer vision outcome as part of this project

There are 500 products to be added and all are non fruit or vegetables which will have clear packaging data.

I am looking for 2 outcomes:

Phase 1 : build a framework and Present the architecture and demo the system which can identify an object in 100milli second with 99.9999% accuracy

Phase 2 : help the customer go live
