Ruby on Rails developer to join our team

1. Overview
Located in Europe (Romania, UK, Spain), we are a small team of software makers that take pride in our craft. With over 30 years experience between us, we provide development and maintenance for various projects and clients around the world.

We are looking for a part-time intermediate, Ruby on Rails developer, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment to join our growing team.

Our main focus for the next year is a rewrite of a globally known invoicing application. You know what rewrite means, no? The newest versions of the newest libraries and frameworks out there. No legacy, yay!

2. Requirements
* a firm grasp of object-oriented programming, analysis and design
* proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
* testing Ruby and Rails code using RSpec, Capybara
* experience in integration with popular 3rd party APIs
* strong experience in building REST APIs
* using git as version control tool
* conversational English

Bonus points for:
* used to working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
* Node.js development experience

3. How we work:
* we prefer Ruby, Rails, Postgresql, Redis, SCSS, Rspec, Capybara, Git(hub), Heroku, AWS, but we try to use the right tool for the job, if you can prove its better, well use it
* being only a few people, we work as a true team, help, train and improve each other. Youll Never Walk Alone!
* we work in 2 weeks sprints and constantly release features. The things you work on, WILL get used
* we do daily stand-ups and peer review all code
* we are committed to provide quality code and we are using Continuous Integration, code style and static code analysis tools
* we value smart people, who are adaptable and understand the need for flexibility. You need to want to learn new things

4. How to apply - please provide us with anything you think will help get an understanding of your skills and experience, including but not limited to:
* relevant examples of your work including Github account if youre doing any open source
* include the term Blinksale in your application
* Linkedin account and references are a plus

4. Miscellaneous
* please apply only if youre available for at least 4 hours a day, 5 days a week and part of those hours are between 8.00 to 17.00 CET. Wed like at least part of your schedule to coincide with the rest of the team
* the project starts as soon as possible so we need you to be ready to hit the ground sprinting
* after the vetting process and the technical interview youll start a one month test job. If everything goes well, were more than happy to discuss a more committed relationship.
