SAP Solution Manager Professionals works across the Application Lifecycle Management to analyse, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Tyconz or our clients.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP Solution Manager with at least 4 end-to-end implementation project and 2 support projects as a Solution Manager Functional SME for following areas:
- Solution Manager Basic Configuration
- System Monitoring and System Administration
- ChaRM
- Service Desk
- Root Cause Analysis
- Quality Management
- Test Management
- Data Volume Management
- Custom Code Management
- SolMan Migration from 7.1 to 7.2
- Version and SP upgrades.
- Managing Solution Manager Projects and Blueprint
- Integration with Third Party Tools
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
5+ years of Solution Manager Technical Experience. Candidate should have basic Understanding in SAP BASIS Technology, especially in terms of Sizing and Installing SolMan Tool.
Strong knowledge of various Solution Manager Features
In depth configuration expertise of Incident Management process and IT Service Management features in Solution Manager
Managing Solution Manager Projects and Blueprint
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree in pertinent discipline (Masters degree preferred).
- Ideal candidate would have handled minimum 2 - 4 End to End implementation / Support projects, in which 2 must be SolMan 7.2 Implementations.
- Ideally candidate should have domain experience of more than 5 Years desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working with Client Support ITSM and PCOE SolMan Operations will be added advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience as the Solution Manager Functional SME in at least 2 Incident Management implementations.
Experience with all aspects of Solution Manager implementation including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state operations solution, as well as supporting testing and post implementation activities
Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development for Solution Manager
Extensive experience in Onsite-Offshore working model.
