Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for engaged and enthusiastic Senior Backend Engineer. We are working together in a distributed team to create a payment card solution for enterprises that automates expense management and continuously improves company spending.
What youll do:
- Participate in our architecture design
- Design, develop and deploy backend components
- Build and operate infrastructure, toolset and deployment pipelines
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross- functional team
- Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation
- Work in an environment that supports your individual growth

Who you are:
- You are comfortable writing Scala and Java
- You are excited to develop state-of-the-art solution from scratch
- You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools
- You are interested to learn new technologies and tools
- You know and care about engineering best practices like continuous delivery, code quality and automated testing
