Looking for Sr. Data Engineer to meet the data needs of Fileo Insights clients. This role develops data processes, provides expert guidance on methods of optimizing data flows and reporting including data modeling, ETL, and indexing to support the business and operational needs.

Essential Duties and Primary Accountabilities
Works within the data system:
- Responsible for developing and automating data ingestion and extraction routines to enhance performance, quality, and data availability.
- Automate inbound and outbound data flows with vendors and partners to enable maximum data efficiency. Optimize data structures for stored data.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through the implementation of automated audit and data management practices.
- Works closely with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to optimize queries.
Years of Experience:
- 7+ years of database management and operations experience using MSSQL suite
- 3+ years in healthcare analytics, with significant experience using Payer claims data
- 2+ years with Agile development (Kanban or Scrum)
Work Related Experience:
- Detailed knowledge of healthcare claims data
- Experience using SQL Server experience (SSIS, SSRS, GDM, MDM)
- Experience with report visualization tools preferred
- Experience with Agile project management
Specialized Knowledge:
- Strong SQL programming skills
- Software/Hardware: SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, VBA, QlikView, ETL, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and/or other query/analytic tool
- Thorough understanding of database structures and data design. Experience optimizing data flow.
- Must be a self-motivated results-driven professional with sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
