Urgent: Moderator for running esports out of the a large discord community

Hi there, we are looking for a clever, smart, dedicated and available now moderator to oversight and manage our BETA esports tournaments from our discord server. We have launched the first ever indie / mod Esports platform. This is a truly amazing project in the gaming space that allows for the first time ever allow indie developers, mods to showcase their content for competitive play and earn money, create value for themselves. Players compete/play to win and can earn a livelihood through play. There is also a huge component of digital fashion involved for awesome brand/fashion designer skins being incorporated. This is BIG!We just launched with our BETA for the Among Us Sheriff Mod and received over USD$171K in sales from our skins marketplace. The skins are NFTs that use as the in-game authentication mechanism for the players. The profits from the sales goes directly to designers, developers and winning players involved in the battles/tournaments.

Your role will consist of helping to moderate the tournaments, explain to the players more about the project and how the tournaments work, onboarding players and helping them get set up.We are looking for someone that is an avid gamer themselves, that has a background in gaming, esports with previous connections formed. You will help to build the hype, act as a front face for the communitys questions/FAQs, listen to community feedback and communicating with the core C-level team.

You must be available to work on US/Canada timezones and be active enough hours of the day/evening, be prepared to work late nights.You must be fluent in English. We are a startup so we cant offer a lot. You should be joining this out of your own passion and interest. This role will come with other incentives (non-monetary) for joining such an exciting project and you will be positioning yourself at the heart of a future industry.

Price listed is monthly, but is negotiable given the right candidate.
