Website Development and Re-Design on Word Press

Introduction:
The Building Bridges Coalition (BBC) is seeking proposals from individuals or teams to design and develop a new website to replace our existing website. The new BBC website should provide resources and information to members and allies of the coalition, and to be a central hub to collect member dues and donations. The website should also educate external audiences about the mission and work of the BBC.

The Building Bridges Coalition is a consortium of leading organizations, higher education institutions, and corporations working collaboratively to advance the quality, impact, and scale of international volunteering. Founded in 2006 as a result of the Brookings Institution Initiative on International Volunteering and Service, the BBC quickly grew to over 300 members across the U.S.

Website details:
The new website will replace the existing website which is currently out of date, both visually and content-wise. The new website design should be modern and streamlined and incorporate both BBC and stock photos to make it engaging and attractive. It should be easy to navigate and incorporate existing content from the previous website or content provided by the BBC team.

In addition, the website should be streamlined and be easily editable by BBC volunteers in the future. It is very important that the new website limit plug-ins and use a WordPress template to enable volunteers to maintain the website.

Core Functionality of the website should include:

Redesign, both visual and structural, of the website with an engaging home page and 6-8 additional pages (Who we are, Leadership, Members, Events/Resources, Contact, Donate/Dues, plus one or two additional pages if needed)
Google Analytics configuration
Newsletter subscription sign-up
Paypal button for payments
Social media links

Optional features should include:

Optimization for mobile devices
SEO configuration

Budget and Timeline:
We have budgeted $600 for the new website design and development. Ideally, the new website will be ready for launch on end of the month.
